Very good location close to main station and restaurant quarter. Staff was very lovely, helpful and heartwarming friendly. There’s a broad variety of amenities including even hair wax and face masks (we had a beauty night together with our kids though!). Breakfast was fantastic! Very good choice of Japanese specialties including rice, miso, tsukemono, karaage, fried fish, salad and other vegetables with a variety of dressings and the local eel with Teriyaki sauce - so delicious!!! But there are also “Western” things on the buffet like scrambled eggs and sausages. And - for those who only want a couple of drinks and a quick bite in the evening: there is even a Happy Hour with beer, Highballs and Softdrinks and Onigiri, also with the local eel.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. The cost was great! The staff were very accomodating when we wanted to stay another night & check out late. They let us leave our bags before check in & delivered them to the room for us. They have one of the bigger rooms we’ve stayed in Japan. The free breakfast is excellent with a mix of western and Japanese available (udon, miso, curry, rice, bacon & eggs, croissant, cereal, coffee & juice).

I liked everything about this hotel. The location was great, just a 10 minute walk from the main train station and 10 minutes in the other direction to Hamamatsu Castle. The breakfast in the mornings was delicious (fyi: but difficult for vegetarians). The room itself was big enough to keep my luggage open during my stay here. AC worked perfectly and there was even a humidifier. I can really recommend this hotel!

I spent a little over 3 weeks with the lovely staff at Hotel Act Garden. Because I was staying for so long and just needed a place to sleep (I was in Hamahatsu for work) I wanted a place that was well-priced and didn't need a whole lot of extra facilities (Gyms etc.). The hotel represents excellent value for money, the comfort & cleanliness levels were very good, and the staff were amazing. Definitely recommend!

The hotel isn't too far away from Hamamatsu station and close to or rather in the main area. The room was clean and had all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay, the bed was comfortable too. There's an amenity bar where you can take stuff like face wash, razors etc., which was really nice. The staff was friendly.
